An Enjoyable Night Out

After days of staying at home, we finally stepped out together for a weekend dinner at Chilis Grill & Bar. Within half an hour, we were shown to our cosy corner right at the end of the restaurant. The kids were given crayons and paper to doodle away while we decided what to order.

We didn't have to wait too long for our starter to be served. CLASSIC NACHOS with beans, queso with a hint of seasoned beef, cheese and jalapeƱos on every chip. Served with pico de gallo and sour cream. Yummilicious! I only managed to take a picture of the appetizer. After that, I was too busy eating (absolutely famished) and feeding the kids.

After dinner, we went for a stroll along the walkways of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi. There were street performers along the road including living statues, dog show, performers playing percussion instruments, and a native man walking around in traditional costume with some indecent exposure of his butt. Many makeshift stalls selling balloons and other knick knacks.

As we came across an artist making a portrait for a family of 3 brothers, Justin said that he wanted to have one with Jonathan. Both had to take turns because it was difficult for Jonathan to stay still for a long period of time. Jonathan managed to keep still for awhile, thanks to Justin who kept jumping up and down to attract his attention.

After 10 minutes, the portrait was completed. Wanna take a peek?

Justin & Jonathan

A Month of Night Vigils and Cold Sponges

I just realised that there is only one more week to go before the end of May. My busiest month this year with a record number of trips to the hospital, 9 times to be exact. Why? Because of 3 sick little ducklings! Justin, Jonathan and me.

Jonathan has been at home since the beginning of May because mummy was busy taking care of Justin in the first 2 weeks. Justin was admitted to hospital when he started having blisters in his mouth, strawberry tongue and red spots on his hands and legs. After that, mummy succumbed to a one week sore throat and developed fever as well.

A very sick Justin .....

Or is he?

The two of us have recovered but Jonathan still has a bit of diarrhoea. Doctor says it's due to the antibiotics that he is on right now. Hopefully he will get better soon.

Will update again.
