We are back from our 3 weeks holiday in Singapore. Wonderfully relaxed time as we managed to outsource the kids to our parents. It's really nice to have someone to watch the kids for awhile, so that we can go out for breakfast, lunches, dinners, suppers and karaoke sessions with friends and relatives.
Apart from that, we are also grateful that things went on smoothly during our trip back. Justin was able to get into a school without balloting. We managed to find a place we like. I was especially delighted to see Ah Zhor (their great-grandmother) recognise Justin and Jonathan. She opened her eyes wide, smiled at them and held Jonathan's hand for longest time. Kids really bring joy to adults.
Of course, with all the attention and pampering given to the kids, how can they not want to be back? Justin wanted to stay in Singapore for another "100 days". Now that he is in Tokyo, he is already looking forward to Chinese New Year because papa told him that we would be returning then. The little fella kept asking me, "When and how many more months is it to Chinese New Year". He is so sweet and sentimental. Jonathan, on the other hand, will go wherever mommy goes.
