Justin hit himself face-flat against the wall yesterday. I was tucking him in bed when the incident happened. He cried really hard and his tears kept rolling down his cheeks.
Immediately I knew that the hit was bad because he can tolerate a substantial amount of pain. During his first year of immunisation, he never shed a tear or made noise when he took his jabs.
But this time he cried very loud. Poor boy! Sure enough, the bump slightly above his eye came up. The size of half a walnut, diameter of a 50-cent coin. Thank goodness that his eye is alright.
His forehead is still blue-black today. I guess it will take a couple of days before the swell goes down.
